Pregnancy a Week by Week Guide
- Pregnancy week by week starts with week one of course. We begin counting from the first day of the last menstrual period. We are counting by the gestational age method when we count this way. Most women have a 28 day cycle, ovulation occurs around 14 days after the start of your cycle. This is a great time to begin healthy habits. Start your pregnancy diet.
- Pregnancy week by week at week two. Your uterus has shed
its lining and is now preparing a lush new bed of blood rich
tissue to house a growing fetus. Your eggs are now ripening
in one of your ovaries and preparing to be released. Normally
one egg is released unless you are having fraternal twins then
your ovaries will release two eggs.
